I found this site and it gave me really great details about her in historical context, allowingme to understand her impact better. I learned that she was a midwife and a skilled, reveared herbalist in the ealry colonies. She was called the Jezebel of colonial America for her efforts to 'thwart the traditional way of life'.
I have not been able to find many sources like this to help with my research, so I plan to use this as a base of my paper. I can use it to experess my main piont in my paper. She was a woman who defied almost everything that was normal and accepted in her world and, instead, created her own way and decided her own future as well as inspiring many other to follow in her example.
*though I love the idea of this topic, I can't find many sources at all. I am considering switching to Mary Edwards Walker. What do you think?
