Fourth Annotation for NHD 2009

"The Trial of Anne Hutchinson." Stand Up For Your Rights. 2004. WGBH Educational Foundation . 28 Oct 2008 http://pbskids.org/wayback/civilrights/features_hutchison.html.

I found this site and it explained, in fair details, the importance of Mrs. Hutchinson's efforts. It explained the tons of obstacles she faced during her trial and edven before she was accused. Though she had many on her side, the more powerful were against her and she had no chance in that day, age, and colony.

I can use this to express the great trials she faced for the simple, insignificant reason of disagreeing with someone. She, along with her brother-in-law and followers, were driven out of their homes. They were persecuted and mutilated for the simple act of thinking for themselves and acting as they saw fit throught the teachings of the same Bible the government followed.
